What to Expect During the Program
Duration: Typically completed in just 2 to 4 hours, the program is designed for a streamlined yet informative experience.
Theory: Start with a concise 20–30-minute safety briefing covering diving basics such as hand signals and equipment use.
Confined Water Session: Get hands-on practice in a controlled, shallow setting, learning fundamental skills like breathing underwater, mask clearing, and regulator recovery.
Optional Open Water Dive: Enhance your experience with an ocean dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), though this is often limited to shallow depths for first-timers.
Who Can Join?
Age Requirements: Suitable for participants aged 10 and above. Certain centers even offer pool-only options for kids as young as 8.
No Experience Needed: You don’t have to be a pro swimmer, basic water comfort is sufficient.
Medical Clearance: Complete a Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire to ensure you’re ready to dive safely.
